What are you going to do?
As a developer at PAQT, you work with your scrum team on innovative applications for our clients. SaaS, ERP or software platform: for our clients, theire new software solution is essential for their business operations. That is why quality always comes first and we often work with our clients for a long time. Even after delivery.
In our Rise working method, we pay a lot of attention to the preliminary phase, so that you know exactly for which problem you are building a solution. For this we use coding standards and frameworks such as Laravel and Symfony. In addition, you work with your team and the customer in realistic sprints with clear goals and code reviews with colleagues, extensive tests and monthly knowledge sessions are part of the standard work routine.
In other words...
- You build, test, maintain and improve innovative and business-critical applications.
- You plan the sprints and projects with your team members and ensure a tight backlog.
- You write tests (unit, feature and browser)

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a team member who wants to invent, build and maintain the best solutions together with fellow developers, consultants and our clients. In close cooperation, you and your team translate the ambitions of our clients into high-quality software that solves theire problem seamlessly. Those problems are sometimes quite complex, but that gets you excited rather than run away from them. You work meticulously and would rather do two tests too many than one too few.
In addition, we ask
At least:
- Demonstrable experience as a PHP developer at a mature organization
- A good foundation in object-oriented programming and architecture (UML, Design Patterns, DDD, SOLID)
- Experience with at least one PHP framework (e.g. Laravel/Symphony)
- Good knowledge of web technologies (HTML5, MySQL, RESTful/SOAP web services, AJAX, web sockets)
And preferably also:
- At least 3 years of experience with Laravel/Symphony
- That you know how to set up maintainable architectures and write testable code
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum
